The Gauer Flo-Rak carton flow shelf & track system eliminates the need for extra hardware to hold the track and guide in place. This system allows for simple adjustments to accommodate product and package size changes unlike many full width roller runway options, which we only provide as a special order. Additionally, track horizontal adjustability can be made as small as ½ inch or ⅝ inch increments, depending on the shelf style. This makes it possible to achieve maximum product density. Ease of operation and implementation, combined with Gauer’s roller design ensures smooth flow while preventing product hang-ups.
Plastic Axle Flo-Trak Option
Gauer Metal Products was the first manufacturer of carton flow shelving in the world, beginning manufacturing of early models in the 1940’s. After years of fine tuning the design to the modern Gauer Flo-Rak family of products, we are certain that our systems are most defiantly equipped to suit your needs. Similar systems, made by our competitors, have given an undue bad impression of what Gauer shelves with the proper track can accomplish. Gauer is always up for a challenge and is very willing to put our product up against a competitor’s, in a side by side competition. Gauer’s Plastic Axle Flo-Trak design consists of a ⅞ inch diameter, molded high density polyethylene roller locked inside a 22 gauge galvanized channel. The Gauer design can be modified to fit almost any manufacturer’s shelf frame and is the best value of any roller track in the business. This 1½ inch center to center track is designed to be used interchangeably with our Steel Axle (R1) Flo-Trak design with ether the click-in or slide in attachment to Gauer shelf frames.

Pivot Axle Roll Rite Track Option
Roll Rite of Amesbury, MA, like Gauer, was one of the first manufacturers of carton flow track in the world. This track was designed and manufactured exclusively for Unarco Material Handling. In late 2012 Gauer obtained this style of track through acquisition. There are many locations, throughout the United States, that currently have this Roll Rite product installed in their warehouse. Gauer would be happy to help retrofit your shelf frames or fill a new warehouse with this product. This design consists of a 1⅛ inch diameter molded high density polyethylene roller, with a steel pivot axle from the 22 gauge galvanized channel. This Roll Rite design can be used to retrofit existing Unarco shelf frames and can also be put into new systems using Unarco’s Upick system or any of Gauer’s shelving systems. This 2 inch center to center track provides tremendous cost savings over alternative track containing a solid steel axle.
Full Width Roller Runways
Available Through Special Order Only
Gauer offers full width roller runways through special order only. This style of product became popular in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. The product has lost some steam in the more recent years due to lack of versatility when box or carton size change. The full width roller runways can become ineffective if boxes carry over between sections. However, if you do not plan on making any changes to the widths of your lanes, this may be the product for your warehouse.
This product can be manufactured as standalone, beam supported lanes or as a substitute for traditional roller track in shelf frames. The ¾ inch diameter rollers are manufactured in standard nominal widths of 6 inch, 9 inch, 12 inch and 15 inch roller runways. The steel axle rollers can be placed on 1 inch, 2 inch or 3 inch centers depending on needs of the customer.
